Jump to: navigation, search

Bear Valley Road runs along the ridge tops with great views of the Cottonwood and Bear Valleys.

After you begin the trail at I-8, Buckman Springs Road exit you immediately enter Cleveland National Forest through a gate. You drive on to the shelf road and get on the ridge. Though one vehicle at a time can go through, the passing places are numerous. Once you get on the ridge the terrain turns grassy and you cross the Fuzz, Sage and Wire Peaks. The trail finishes at Pine Valley.

This trail is accessible during dry weather only as in the rains the ground gets uneven and wet. It requires a National Forest Adventure Pass.
